Some people eat to live, and others live to eat. I am the latter. I adore food, and the more pretentious the better. But I leave the pretentious food to the professionals. At home, I like to make up my own recipes. Mostly they are inspired by the city I live in, the books I read, my friends and family, and places I want to visit. I like to cook food full of flavour, texture, history, and goodness. Here are some of my experiments.
